Why do I have to use less? We should have figured out these green issues by now. I shouldn't have to feel guilty for living the life I am used to and I blame government in general for it.
Why as a society have we not applied more upward political pressure? I think that we need to hold our government reps accountable. It has been proven time and time again that if we (society) all pull on the rope in the same direction significant technological advances can be achieved quickly. Perhaps this is a poor example, but look at the massive advances that were made during a few years in the Second World War. For significant change to happen, government needs to create the appropriate environment through policy. I'm looking for leadership, are you? In the meantime, I'll take comfort in the fact that I'm doing my part.
